Attend Reuben Kee Wake
My friend and I went to Bishan
and attend Reuben Kee wake. The wake was held at his house void deck. It was
full of people attending the wake which start at 8pm. They sing worship songs
and then sharing moment about Reuben.
His sister share the moment to
everyone. She said that, she always wanted to have an elder brother and she
always think that Reuben are good for nothing and she always ignore him. Her
brother always try to play with her and talk to her...
During the grown up period, she
was shocked that her brother Reuben sudden become muscular and fit that she
always show off to her friend by saying, I have strong and fit brother, if you
guys bully me, my brother will come and find you.
Reuben played a good music but he
had a weird singing voice. They always play music together. She will be the one
singing the song while her brother compose the song. She was at Thailand for
further studies and they suppose to meet together to have music session but when
she returns, her brother .......
She also mentioned that she felt
happy for her brother, she said that, her brother no need to face any injury, no
need to grow old, no need to face the experiences next time when their parent
died or she died.. I will meet again with him together with Jesus...
By then, everyone was touched and
very emotional. Most of them cried and even me.. It touches my heart and I feel
very sad.. After that will be Reuben friends share the moment with everyone..
I really could not able to
endure my emotion, my friends too.. They almost going to cry too... After that,
they closed the prayer by worship song. I do not know the song title, but it
something like, River... After that, they
played the music by Reuben composed..
I even do not have the encourage
to went in front of the alter to pay a respect. I was scared as I afraid I would
cry as till now I still cannot believe that such a fine young guy with a
promising future had passed away and I cannot face it that my idol are died and
gone forever. His music, his passion really touches me. He really inspire many
people.

smile very happily at his church. The families would want to remember him the
time where he is very happily. Although he only spend 23 years in life but he
seem to enjoyed more than 23 years in life. His passion in sport, music and
strength would always be remembered and inspire by everyone.
For people who know him, you
could pay a respect at his Wake at Block 137 Bishan Street 12 Void Deck till
Wednesday, 28 November. Thursday, 29 November 2007, there will be a ceremony for
5 of the dragon boaters before they will send to rest.
May the Lord gives the strength
to all 5 of the decreased families and give them a good comfort. I hope one day
that I could meet my idol and would want him to teach me piano and listening to
his wonderful music.
